Ancel Little, 75, of Virgie, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at Parkview Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Robinson Creek.

He was born in Pike County, April 8, 1931, a son of the late Orville and Goldie Osborne Little.

He was a retired trucker and a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his  ex-wife, Clara Trivette Little; one son, Larry Gene Little of Taylor, Mich.; one daughter, Betty Brown of Lincoln Park, Mich., a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at noon Monday, Feb. 5, in the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church with S.J. Bates and others officiating. Burial followed in the Osborne Family Cemetery, Virgie. Arrangements were under direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Robinson Creek.
